The Countdown Has Officially Begun

When Toni and Dave were here we all went out for a celebratory engagement dinner. We ended up going to Tapas which was amazing. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. This is the only picture I managed to get that night. The countdown is on.

The Canandaigua Lady

When Toni was here we all piled into the tiny Nissan Versa (our lovely rental for the week) and headed to Canandaigua one afternoon. I bet Toni is still sore from being wedged between the carseats. It was a beautiful day...perfect for a trip on the Canandaigua Lady. Since this trip, Jack has been interested in all the finger lakes. He draws them and wants to see them on maps. And the other day he wanted to know which finger lake Aunt Bridget used to live near. And, also, he wanted to know how to spell "Canandaigua."

Hanging with Grandma

The kids started coloring on the trip. If you had told me last year at this time that our two kids would have quietly colored on a boat, I would have laughed. It goes to show, they are getting older! Check out Ms. Lefty. We think she's left handed but she still alternates.

Soccer

Here are some pictures of Jack's soccer practice. He's just starting to "get" it. He seems to have fun out there and at the end of the day, that's all we really care about.

Matheson Visit

These pictures are from earlier in the spring. We've been lucky to see the Mathesons twice in the past few months. Leah is so cute! She's talking and full of personality. She calls herself Nene (neenee) and she says her sister is going to be called Abby (after the muppet on Sesame Street). I love it. I think she is going to wear Chris and Nicole down. When she came to visit on this day, Jack was at school. The girls played with their dolls and ate coco-puffs. The funny thing was that Leah ate about a fourth of a coco-puff in the amount of time Lily wolfed down five. No joke! Nicole looks awesome. I can't wait for the newest Matheson to arrive.

Colin's Birthday Party

We had a blast at Colin's 2nd birthday party. The kids were beyond excited to go to this party and they are still talking about it. In fact, any time we drive in the vicinity of park Lily asks me if we are going to Colin's party. Haha.

The party was a circus theme and Nicole went all out. I'm glad we have pictures to capture the moments because some day Colin will look back and realize how much effort his mom and family put into throwing him one heck of birthday bash.

Here is one of the tables. Of course I missed the clown dressup area and the tables and cake. Blast. It was pretty sweet.

I haven't blogged on here in awhile due to the fact that we've been without a computer and it's been difficult to upload pictures. I'm backlogged! I have lots of pictures to post.

Thought I would start with these. This is from when Colin and Nicole were in New York. Colin came over one morning and the kids all had fun playing together. Here is a snapshot of he and Lily skyping (before the computer bit the dust) Aunt Bridget. I think they were having some sort of medical conference.
