Kate's Nursing Graduation

Kate graduated from Fisher!  Here are some pics from my phone.  I could have kicked myself for forgetting my camera.

Yay Kate!

Grad Party / Birthday Celebration

We didn't get too many pictures from Kate's graduation bbq. I think we were too busy watching children. Go figure. Anyway, the two we did manage to get are cute. Love this first one of Matt and Charlie. Charlie wore scrubs in honor of his aunt's new status as a nurse. 002

Love these cuties.

Charlie's Baptism

Charlie was baptized on Sunday, April 29th at Blessed Sacrament Church.  It was a beautiful day and we were happy to be surrounded by so many people we hold dear.  Taryn and Steve are Charlie's godparents and they were both able to be there which made it really special for us.

Thanks to Mr. Moore I have some pictures from the mass.  I had a million things racing through my head during the mass--none of which involved my camera.  I remember Father saying before we went up that siblings were welcome on the altar during the actual baptism.  Ahh!

Fragile, holy items + 2 overtired, curious little ones = one stressful mom

When we were called up to the altar, Jack as expected, wanted to explore the surroundings.  Lily was being a typical three year old and decided it was a good time to throw a tantrum.  And the baby was beautiful but spit up all over his christening outfit at the end.  The most memorable part was when Father realized there was no holy water up on the altar.  Oops.
It was all great anyway.
God bless Charles Seamus Archer.  We love you Charlie!

The picture below captures the craziness.  I'm trying to wrangle Lily and Steve is keeping an eye on Jack.  Taryn is praying that this will go smoothly and Charlie is the only one noticing that there no water !  Hahahah.

The two pictures below are a couple favorites of the day.  I love that they're having so much fun.

Make Way For Duckling - Shower for Taryn

I can't tell you how excited I am that my beautiful cousin is expecting a baby.  Taryn and Dave are going to be fantastic parents and as I've said before, (in keeping with theme of course) their baby will be one lucky duck.

Since Taryn was going to be home for Charlie's baptism, we thought we'd seize an opportunity and throw a little shower for her on Saturday.  We had a duck theme because Dave and Taryn met in Boston and that's where the backdrop of the classic children's book "Make Way for Duckling" takes place.  Plus, ducks work well for gender neutral parties.  :)

Anyhow, I'm hoping to get some more pictures from Nicole but here are a few from the day.  I wish there were more but I was probably busy chatting or tending to the food.  Blast!

Here's one of the lovely mom-to-be...
