Christmas with Grandma Patty

From the looks of the picture you would think they were reading "War and Peace" and not Elmo's "Everybody Dance."

Classic George Costanza pose. Looks like somebody did indeed get his two front teeth for Christmas.

My aunt and cousin sent this aquarium for Jack. It's pretty cool. It looks like a little flatscreen tv and the fish swim around in it only without the hassle of tank cleanings and water spilling. Jack kept looking for the Nemo characters.

My mom got this accordian for Jack. It's the gift that keeps on giving. It gives. And gives. And gives. Sometimes it gives so much that we have to hide it.

Lily and Aunt Nicole. Lily looks rather serious here. Notice the cupcake set her aunt and uncle bought her. Now Lily can bake alongside of me.

Jack got a little firehouse set from my mom. It's kind of cool because it looks like a little lunchbox and is portable. Lily got a school house.

Ice Time

As many of you know, Jack started skating lessons this past fall (thanks to his Uncle Matt). It has been fun to watch him out on the ice but at the same time it was always a little heartbreaking when the other kids' family members would go out with them at the end of the lesson. David and I aren't really skaters. We don't own our own skates. So, we would always watch and wish somebody was a little closer. You can imagine then, how exciting it was to finally have Matt take Jack out on the ice. Matt was really patient. I guess that's why he's been a successful coach. Anyway, he took Jack around a couple times and then the last lap he picked Jack up and skated. The rink was packed with what I can only assume were Pittsford alumni and other random kids. Thankfully Matt was out there because some of those kids were really whipping around and I was worried about our little guy. Obviously, he was fine!

It was hard for me to get good shots with the boards so this one is full of shadows. Still, I like Jack's little smirk and all the action in the background.

Lovely Leah

We were treated to a guest appearance by the Matheson family at our Christmas party. I got to meet Leah for the first time!!! Trust me...she lives up to the hype. She's so beautiful and the sweetest baby. Lily was ready to scoop Leah up right along with me.

Doesn't Leah look mesmerized by me?

I pity the young man who goes after this girl!

We wanted this to be in Leah's wedding montage some day. :)

Tracy Family Party

We had a great time at Aunt Margaret's house. It was nice to see everyone. And, my aunt's home was beautiful. Jack and Lily both got a kick out of the slate platform surrounding the fireplace. I'm convinced Lily thought it was a stage and she is already prepping for her broadway debut. Anyway, here are some photos from the afternoon.

Could this picture of Nicole and Colin be any sweeter? I swear someone has secretly been working with Colin on how to mug for the camera. Does he have an agent yet?

Do you think the family eats this guy up?

You know it wouldn't be complete without a self portrait right?

My dad had an audience when he was opening gifts. I like how Colin is trying to get Jack's attention here...

I love this picture. I'd like to point out that Lily wore Bridget's headband for awhile and it seemed to fit just fine.

"Lily, say 'cheese.'" I think this photo could be in a Jcrew ad with the matching hues and beautiful ladies (and gent).

I have lots of other pictures to post including some of a special guest visitor and her parents, a hockey outing, xmas at my mom's, etc....hope you're not sick of photos yet! Did I mention I got a new toy from my husband for Christmas? And, to borrow a line from one of Jack's books (the one you gave him, Mo) "I LOVE my new toy!!!!"
