They Love Them Some Aunt Bwidgit

My sister decided last minute to visit us this week! She got an apartment in Providence (woohoo) and was able to spend a few days in Buffalo. From the moment she arrived, Jack was right beside her. It made me laugh because as soon as she would pay attention to the baby, Jack would be right next to them. Both Lily and Jack were fascinated by her hair and kept tugging on it.

Daniels Visit

I think these would be a bit hit in the office and the hospital. Thoughts?

Pretty fetching huh? We've come a long way from those navy slacks and white turtlenecks...I think.

Atticus was scared of the blue snuggies. I can't blame him.

Donovan is a doll. She is so content to play quietly by herself and explore. She hardly batted an eye with two crazy boys running around. Sometimes I would forget she was around and turn to see her sitting with a baby doll at the diner. Love her!

Attie flashing a smile. He has the most beautiful strawberry blonde hair!

Tuckered out. When all else fails, there's "Monsters Inc."

Happy Birthday Toni!

It was Toni's birthday yesterday. I would have posted but our internet was down all day (just as well because it was gorgeous out).

Hope you had a fantastic day!

More Archer Pics

These are some of my favorite pictures from our visit with Toni and Dave. I love Lily's face in the first picture. She looks so peaceful nuzzling up to her grandfather. Jack looks like he's full of mischief in the second one. In the last picture I love how Lily is smiling at Toni. These really are kodak moments. Happy Friday!

Visiting Award Winning Dad at Work

Last week we visited David at work. He recently received an award for the most pro bono hours in the firm. His coworkers surprised him with a pizza lunch. They had some great things to say about him too(obviously). He knew we were coming but thought we were still on our way when he came in the conference room. Imagine his surprise when he walked in and heard, "Daddy!!!" Jack was thrilled to be there. I think Lily enjoyed also enjoyed the attention. It was really nice.

This picture was taken in Dave's office with my cell phone hence the grainy quality. Jack refused to look at me but it's still sweet.

Just Like Daddy

When Toni was here we went to the mall and Jack got his hair cut. Normally we take him to a place that specializes in kid cuts. This time he sat in an adult chair (instead of a merry-go-round horse) and stared at himself in the mirror (instead of watching the latest Elmo video). The haircut is completely uneven. It reminds me of a British rocker because he has random long pieces and wispy sideburns. He still looks adorable. He tells us how his haircut looks "just like daddy." He looks so old!!!
