Playing at The Play (or Strong Museum)

Jack prefers to call the Strong Museum of Play just "The Play." That's exactly what he did there. We've visited the museum in the past but I think now he truly appreciates it. He had a ball playing around Sesame Street, shopping in Wegmans, riding trains (with Aunt Nicole) and playing with random toys. On the way out he even got to ride the carousel with my mom. It's great because every year Dave's firm allows their employees some free guest passes to the museum. Colin and Lily seemed content enough to sit in the stroller and take it all in.

Bridge, I took this photo for you. I thought you would be happy to know that Barbie is representing at The Play. I hope that you always wear a pink cocktail dress and pumps with your white lab coat.

For whatever reason, Lily has taken a shine to Mickey Mouse. I think Ann may have given us this Mickey...perhaps it used to be Joanie's? One day Lily just started gravitating toward it. Then recently I asked her where her Mickey was and she crawled to him. She also gets excited when he's on tv (take that Elmo).

Hugs for Daddy

Lately when David comes home from work he picks up Lily and she hugs him. I mean, she throws her arms around him and embraces him. Tell me that doesn't make his day?! P.S. The outfit on Lily is from her Aunt Kate. You can't see the little green leggings but trust me, it's soooo cute.

Grandpa Dave

Jack has told me several times over the last week how he went to the movies with Daddy and Grandpa Dave. He must have enjoyed the male bonding time. :) Here are a few favorite shots of the Other Dave with the kids. He's jetsetting in Europe right now! I'm pretty sure though that nothing in Brussels or London can compare to the kettlecorn at the Clarence pumpkin farm, right?

So Sweet!

How many Archers does it take to assemble a train track? Haha. Just kidding.

Helloooo Grandma Toni

jack and Lily really enjoyed being with their grandparents. Actually I felt so sorry for Jack because he fell asleep on the way to the airport and when he woke up from his nap he started crying and asking where Grandma Toni and Grandpa Dave were. Fortunately he was able to soak up some quality time. He also, as per usual, was spoiled with gifts. For his birthday he got a two wheel bike. Now let's hope the weather holds out so he can actually practice with it. Here are a few pictures of the kids with Grandma Toni.

Warning...a little crude

Something happened in the Archer house today and hint, it did not involve me, David or Lily. In honor of the big moment I thought this song from "Scrubs" was appropo. Bridge, is this how you go about your day?
