Happy 15 Months!

IMG_2086

Lil' Lil is 15 months old. We went to the doctor again (I swear they could start charging us rent) this morning for her well visit. She is:
-26.8 lbs (lighter than we thought)
-32" tall
-Ear infection appears better

She's a trooper. That poor babe has really been poked and prodded this week between shots and vaccinations and lead tests. Oh my. What a doll. She's saying some words. She says, "Elmo, Baby, Da-da, Mama, Hi, Bye, Doggy, Up, Uh-oh, NO!, ball, Uh-huh, Mimi (for minnie/mickey)." She is learning more every day. She loves her big brother and frequently saddles up to him and lays her head on his shoulder. She likes her baby dolls, her Minnie and Mickeys, her doggies, and some of Jack's trains / cars. Her adventurous side is starting to emerge. She is constantly climbing on EVERYTHING. She loves milk, refuses juice and is starting to use sippy cups. She will eat just about any vegetable you put in front of her but throws pineapple chunks and blueberries on the floor. She sucks her left thumb when she's tired. She sings and dances. She likes to copy her brother. See below:

Simply the Best

They were pretending to ward off the paparazzi in this picture. I had a lousy day yesterday but it was made a little less lousy by the fact that I got a card for my half anniversary (6 1/2 years!). I know I'm stating the obvious but that guy bearhugging those two cuties is a gem.

Visit to Jeanne's (Not to be confused with Genie from Aladdin)

The kids were a little spoiled this weekend because they got to see so much family. We stopped by Jeanne's house (Jack wanted to call her Genie, like from Aladdin) on our way back to Buffalo. We stopped by much like a hurricane spirals into town. The kids were a little wound by all the excitement. They loved Jeanne's house because it has an open layout and they could run loops for hours. Jack spent the first half of our visit chasing their cat. It was good to see everyone.

Lily and Kate demonstrating their percussion abilities. Next year's Christmas list will include a styrofoam storage container.

The great thing about Aunt Kate is that she gets down to their level and loves to play.

Lily was intent on Jeanne wearing this hat. She also found it hysterical to run over to Jeanne and say "Achoo!" Who knew sneezing was so funny?

The gang's back together...David, Scott and Steve. KIDDING Scott!

Lily kept running circles around Jeanne's house until Steve stood in front of her. Then she decided it was too much work and needed to relax. That, or Steve performed some kind of baby magic.

Relaxin' with his aunt. Forever in blue jeans.

Miss everyone! Love you.

Pizza Party

Kevin wanted pizza and Kevin got pizza. Nicole organized a nice party for Kev on Saturday afternoon. I posted a few of my favorite pictures below but if you want there's also a video of
some more. Good times.
The Tracy Family

The picture below made me laugh because there were large groups sitting at tables and then there's Kev and Colin. I think Nicole was playing hostess.

This is a picture of Nicole's cousin Emily. We want to adopt Emily.
She was so good entertaining the kids and affording us some time to relax.

All it took was some cake and Lily warmed right up to Uncle Tim.

So, it's a very long story but basically I made a phone call to West Herr Automotive and asked for a Steve Tasker cutout. Steve is one of the Bills' big players from their glory days and is now a spokesperson for the auto dealer. They not only gave me an autographed Steve, but also an autographed ball AND four Sabres tickets. Seriously?! If you live in Western New York and need to buy a car, please buy one from West Herr. In the meantime, a few years back when my brother was deployed a friend of mine got Jim Kelly's autograph for him. At the time Jim was with Steve Tasker. When I gave my brother the autograph his first response was, "Thank you!" The second was, "Why didn't your friend get Steve Tasker's autograph?"

I like this photo of my mom and Kevin. I have a few versions but I like this one best because it also features Nicole and Steve.

The first song in the video is an Archer family favorite

PS For some reason there have been issues with videos on blogger. They're working to remedy the problem but in the meantime I'm sorry if this is inconsistent.
