More Poconos Fun

Poolside in the Poconos
We were able to sneak in a quick trip to the Poconos in between moving and Bridget's wedding. The place was great...it reminded me of the backdrop for Dirty Dancing, which actually is supposed to take place in the Catskills but I digress. The kids loved the pool. More importantly though, they loved having so many family members to play with at the pool.
Lily "kissing" the water
Somebody was enjoying all the attention.
All I have to say is that I'm glad I didn't go to the waterpark with the boys after seeing some of these pictures. Jack and Matt both look like they're full of mischief...so did David and Steve for that matter. What happens at waterparks in the Poconos stays at waterparks in the Poconos.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the day.

It's the new Ray-Ban ad
Grandma Toni got her exercise for the week during this one pool trip. Lily was tempted by the hill overlooking the pool. She kept running up and down...think Laura Ingalls.
She's got her shades...
Now all she needs is a beverage to cool off with

How Do I Love Thee...
...let me count the ways. I love this picture of Jack because it captures, at least to me, the essence of this little guy. He is lovable, imaginative, funny, tiring, trying, sweet, energetic, curious, musical, smart, impatient and endearing. The lead up to our move was most difficult for Jack. Change is a scary thing for anyone but especially toddlers who thrive with routine. Children are resilient though. I think we could all learn more from them. I'm happy to report that Jack loves "64." He also loves the new library, his fenced-in yard (ok, so mom and dad love that too), his shared room, the canal (and by canal I mean ducks, brueggers and tom wahls), his family room and our new neighbors and their dogs. P.S. Jack is eager to show you all his new house and is equally excited for you to bring a putty knife and spray bottle to help him tear down wallpaper. :)
