The Cow Jumped Over the Moon

I took this video the other day and it makes me laugh. The moon was still visible in the sky and Jack was obviously very excited about it. Every time he sees the moon he either tells me about the "moonshine" or the cow that jumped over the moon. I love the urgency in his voice. Also, I love how abrupt the ending of the video is. He is always getting into things. That's our man!

I love this- thanks for posting! It is almost like he doesn't think you get it, runs to Dave, then runs back to declare it once again! Too cute. Ah, the fall leaves- thanks for sharing a bit of the fall I miss with me! :)

Oh, I love everything about this!!!! he is SUCH a cutie!!!! It amazes me how similar our boys are - I can just see Nate saying the same thing in 7 months. I seriously laughed out loud at the end....he's too much! Nate will enjoy watching this when he's up from his nap. :-)

This is an awesome video! Attie just watched this with me and kept saying, "Look, mama, it's Attie!" Umm, no, honey, actually it's not. You've got to love the unabashed narcissism of toddlers. The world revolves around them, or so they think, so if there's a video featuring someone their size who kind of sounds like them, why, then, it must be me!!!

Jack is such a verbal little kid. He has always amazed me with his precociousness.

The best part about this video is how it ends: "NO, do NOT touch that! DO NOT TOUCH THAT!" Who among us with a toddler does not say that phrase dozens of times a day?

On a separate note, Why are small children so obsessed with things in the sky, be they airplanes or clouds or celestial objects?

Also on a separate note, can I just say how glad I am that I don't have to rake leaves anymore? Poor, poor David.
