Scaling fences before the parade began

I love Attie's shades and Jack's backwards hat

This picture is great. It's not often that these guys sit still...so I like how they're sitting side by side watching the big army trucks roll by...love the flag in the corner too.

"Lil, what did you think of the costumes on those irish dancers?"

Buddies

Here's Jack and Attie in a discussion with our State Representative Mike Ranzenhofer

I think Donovan is praying for rain or candy that her mom kept saying they would throw from one of the floats.

Thanks Maureen for the ice cream...this made the whole parade worthwhile.

I should have taken some pictures of us on the two mile trek back to our house in the heat. Good times.

Love these! What a fun celebration! I'm jealous.
I look like I'm hailing a cab in that first photo.
This was such a fun day even though I lost two pounds in water weight from sweating like nobody's business during that trek back to your house, and despite the fact that the town of Tonawanda evidently has outlawed the throwing of Jolly Ranchers and Hubba Bubbas off of parade floats.
Attie picked up a toy tank today and started going on and on about the parade and the real tanks that he and Jack saw and waved to. It's been said before, but I'll say it again: they are such kindred spirits, those boys, just like their mamas. :)
