Isn't it Rich?

I found these clown costumes the other day when I was rummaging through one of our halloween totes. My Grandma Joan made these outfits for Kevin and I when we were little. I know there's a good picture floating around somewhere of us clowns with my mom. But, in the meantime, I found the two below. I put the costumes on Jack and Lily this morning. Jack was not really interested in being a clown. He said he didn't have a clown nose and the hat was not staying up. I guess maybe the clown isn't as cool as a firefighter. Lily however is still wearing the clown costume. I couldn't find the yellow hat so she's been trying to get the red and white check hat.
I'm guessing...circa 1981

She wouldn't look at me...she had business to take care of.

I was just looking at these pictures again. I think Lily looks like me...well, blonde me. She has the same round face and brown eyes. But holy cow...when I was looking at Jack he totally looks like David to me. He's tall and lean like David was when he was little...and even his faces remind me of his dad.

ohmygosh, car! I can't believe you still have those, that's AWESOME!!! I love the pics of you and Kevin as toddlers. See, I see both of you in your kids.... and I actually see more of you in Jack as he gets older. Regardless, you guys make some pretty cute kids!! :-D

These are so precious. It is so, so cool that you still have these costumes. I hope the hats turn up. And I agree with you...I saw that photo of Jack sitting on the stairs and thought to myself, "Holy cow, that kid looks just like his daddy. There's no way David could deny that boy!" Whoever Jack and Lily resemble, they make adorable little clowns.
