Can you tell Lily is deliberately not looking at the camera?
She loves her Uncle Matt.
I think Lacey should add a conductor's hat to her wardrobe rotation! Jack was anxious to play with the new train Uncle Matt gave him and directed Lacey to be his conductor.
She is a good sport!

Matt and Lacey got the royal treatment. They got to ride in the back of the Dodge on the way down to Geneseo...nothing but the best!

Although Lily is distracted in this picture, I love this shot of David...he looks so cute.

Annual Archer Family Shot. We really have only a handful of family pictures so even though the kids are rather bored here, I still like it.

I was going to say this is Lily's first college visit but she's also been to Cornell. You can't start too early these days.

I had some communication classes in this building. One of my favorite classes was Intro to Comedy where we watched "Top Secret" and I wrote a paper on "Christmas Vacation." Money well spent. Jules, didn't you take that class with me?

I don't remember that Dr. Seuss pine tree being there when I went to school.

Running around the Quad

We did the major sightseeing tour on our quick trip to Geneseo. We visited the IB, the union, drove by the old RLK house, the hockey house, the Statesman (or as I like to call it, the place where we met with our old el camino-driving-landlord to pay rent), the Ward Street house (Dommer), Mia's, the ice arena, the quad and Main Street. I hadn't been back in at least 8 years. Good times. Maybe Lily or Jack will go there one day...crazy to think about.

Looks like you guys had a great time, full of reminiscing! Awesome pictures Carrie. I love the fact that Lily's hair is in a pony!
We can't wait to see you guys :)
You even put the seats in the back of the dodge! Royalty indeed.
I had a theatre class in Wadsworth!
I always thought it was pretty campus!
These are great photos, Car! The family shot is the best. I love how coordinated you all are. You and Lil have on the pink, and then it looks like David is wearing the top to a track suit while Jack wears the bottom. It's a framer.
The photo of Wadsworth Auditorium choked me up a bit. I haven't seen it since March 10, 1993. Other than that, I have nothing but great memories of Geneseo. I'd like to stop by the IB and order up a Sloe Gin Fizz and ask them to play "Getting Jiggy With It" just for old times' sake. And then walk across campus in 20 degree weather. Coat-less, of course.
I love the pic of Matt and Lacey in the back of the dodge, too. It made me laugh and think about when Rod and I got married and people kept asking if we were getting a limo. Nope, we were escorted around in the back of Rodney's parents' mini-van. Hey, it was an Odyssey; that's classy, right?
Lily looks about five with the ponytail, by the way.
