Jack loves throwing snowballs at his dad.

I was happy to see Jack making his own snowball. One time when we went out the snow was just too powdery and he got so frustrated that he couldn't make a snowman. This time the conditions were just right!

David and his assistant

I caught Lily eating snow. Gross.

Jack kept launching himself off the deck stairs and into the snow.

The finished product

Our snow people

Lily was happy to come inside. She looked like a little pink marshmallow.

Those are great snowmen! And I bet the very next thing you did after building them was bring a bucket of gray snow inside to make snow cream, right? RIGHT?!
Oh my gosh. I seriously never heard of 'snow cream' until this year. I'm not sure if it's a southern thing, but a few of the girls I know were estatic to make snow cream with the freshly fallen southern snow. I thought it was the grossest thing! Probably because I was envisioning Rochester grey slush.
Great pics Carrie! Glad you guys got out for a while!
Yea, Maureen posted awhile back about making snow cream. Apparently it's really big in TN (where her husband is from) and they even sell snow cream ice cream at their local stores. I saw the pics and was grossed out but the kids LOVED it by the looks on their faces. Our kids don't need any embellishing..they just eat it straight. haha.
