Today was Jack's first day of kindergarten. It was really a special morning. He was so excited. Aunt Kate came over for a first day breakfast. And, Grandpa Jim was able to make it over too. I was suprisingly calm but I think it's because I had support. If they all weren't there I would have totally been in the car following the bus. I can't wait to hear how it went.
First Day of School! Lily has a donut in her mouth. :)
Guess which one is the morning person?
Like I said...who is the morning person.
This is our "guide" tree. Jack has to stand by it to wait for the bus.
This was the dance of joy. "I get to ride a school bus, I get to ride a school bus."
Grandpa Jim was able to stop by to see Jack off!
It was Aunt Kate's first day of school too!
Go figure the nice pic is blurry. :(
Proud Dad!
Jack was tired of taking pics by the time we got around to me. Hopefully there's another one floating around somewhere.
The bus is here!
Have fun Jack!

Is it weird that this post makes me misty and I didn't even get misty dropping my kids off at preschool today?! Oh man - he is so cute and I'm positive he's going to have the time of his life at school. I can't believe he's old enough to get on a bus and go to school already!! I still have this vision of him the first time I met him at my baby shower.... all 6 months of cute chubby cheeks wearing his adorable hat. :-) Can't wait to hear all about it!! Now for baby boy Archer.... let's go buddy!! We want to meet you!!
What an exciting day! He looks pumped!
It made me teary, too, especially when I saw the school bus. What a big day!
I'm sort of choking back sobs right now. This is hitting too close to home! And also, I remember when you brought Jack home from the hospital and I am just in disbelief that our baby boys are starting kindergarten. I'm so glad Jack had a great first day, and here's to a wonderful year!
