Here are the aftershots. It turned out great. We had to strategize with our furniture. The crib is now in our room and my dresser is in Jack's room. It works for now.

This past weekend Dave painted our bedroom. It was too dark (as Maureen says, it was a little like a cave) and we figured we would paint before we rearranged furniture. Our friend John came over to help. That made the process go by alot faster! Pretty soon Jack will be also be able to help. He must have seen us paint before because he found a small roller and started "painting" the living room. Anyway, the new bedroom color is gold and it looks great--very sunny! By the way, it was -6 degrees here this morning without a wind chill.

The Weather is Getting to Everybody

I don't think I can remember a winter when we've had this much snow or such consistently frigid temperatures. I seldom leave the house during the week because it's too much of a hassle trying to bundle up both kids, warm the car and ultimately navigate down our driveway (let alone the streets). We all are suffering from cabin fever! I think we underestimate how much the weather can affect our spirits. Bring on the sunshine already!
