Welcome Vivian Paige May

Our friends Erin and Bob (and Nate) welcomed a healthy baby girl two days ago. I've seen a couple pictures and she's just perfect. And, I love that name--sounds very old hollywood (right up my alley). Lil and Viv will be almost a year apart! Wishing them congrats and sleep when they can get it. Looking forward to getting the gang all together.

Halloween Cuties

Halloween was great because we got to see alot of people and load up on alot of sweets. Jack was one happy guy yesterday. Anyhoo, I have lots of pictures to post throughout the week but here a few...

Bridget put on her coat and was letting Jack "play" with her tools.

We were able to sneak in a session of trick-or-treating with Bridget and Brian. One person commented that Bridget's costume was really good. Nicole gave Jack the little bucket. She is always so thoughtful. She also gave him a little glow light which was a great thing too (his mother did not think about these things in advance!)

Lily the flower (only fitting). She is pure sweetness.

We went to brunch with my dad (like I said more pics to come) and you should have heard the collective oohs and ahhs when this little lion made his entrance...

Nicole and I were talking about how Colin's eyes look like they're getting darker. But, in this picture they're still very blue. Love the cheeks.

Jack T. Archer, MD

Although Jack wanted to be a doctor for Halloween I will admit that as of the last week and a half he has offered other suggestions including but not limited to: a pine cone, a pumpkin head (thanks to a picture he saw of my brother), turkey bacon and a ghost. The doctor won out though and I think he looks quite fetching in his blues. Today the kids get to dress up for school so here's a sneak preview...

The barrister and the doc...they have a tee time later today

Autumn in New York

"Let's take a moment to pause and reflect on this beautiful day."

Trying to help his dad rake

Lil watching the boys

Isn't this sweet? I have to say (not that there was ever any doubt) that I have the BEST husband. I was having major anxiety last night after watching the news (between the news out of Afghanistan and the swine flu --it makes me sick) and didn't sleep very well. Anyway, this morning after David left for work there was a knock on the door. I opened the front door and there was my husband with a starbucks for me. If that isn't romance I don't know what is. I burst into tears (a little emotional right now). Then Jack said, "Bye daddy. Thank you for talking to us." That was the best way to start my day. (Oh, and my dad got a call from my brother this morning so that always makes me feel better!)

Had to get on the bike in this lovely weather

At what age do you think we can hand him the leaf blower?

Lily Bear

Last week I heard Lily stirring and walked in to find her minus pants and socks. She seemed rather proud of herself.
