This picture is great. It's not often that these guys sit still...so I like how they're sitting side by side watching the big army trucks roll by...love the flag in the corner too.

"Lil, what did you think of the costumes on those irish dancers?"

I think Donovan is praying for rain or candy that her mom kept saying they would throw from one of the floats.

Thanks Maureen for the ice cream...this made the whole parade worthwhile.

I should have taken some pictures of us on the two mile trek back to our house in the heat. Good times.

"Find a Book To Read"

I needed something to make me laugh today and this picture did the trick. I always joke with Maureen about the times I slept over her house. She is a night owl and I am not. I was the girl who woke up at 7:00 AM and waited impatiently for my friends to wake up. So, you can imagine how the sleepovers went. I'd wake up and prod Maureen. And she would say, "Go find a book to read or something." I kid her about her hospitality. I can because she's one of the most generous people I know. So anyway, when I saw this picture of Lily trying to wake up Donovan it made me think of their mothers. I can just hear Donovan saying, "Lil, go find a book to read." And the seasons, they go round and round and the painted ponies go up and down...

Downtown Lunch with Dad and Grandma

Last week we met David downtown for lunch and then went to the Hatch afterwards for an icecream. It was such a beautiful day. I'm glad David was able to sneak away from the office for a bit. Of course the kids loved having Grandma Toni around! Here's some pictures from our afternoon...

Surprise!

Brian's family threw Bridget a surprise bridal shower last weekend in Pennsylvania. We were able to make the trip down and celebrate. I'm pretty sure Bridget was surprised! The shower was great. Bridget's good friend Lea was able to come from Baltimore. That was fun...she's a lot of laughs. Bridget, again, received many lovely things. The food was delish (especially the red velvet cupcakes) and the hydrangeas were gorgeous. The Clarks did a fantastic job. :) Next up, rehearsal! Thanks everyone for a nice time.
