Gift of Gab
Our son has become quite the chatty Cathy lately. He always likes to pretend he's on the phone. It's funny to watch becomes sometimes his conversations are quite passionate. Even the doctor commented on how loquacious (three point word) he was this weekend. He's still under the weather but well enough to chat and point out letters and sing songs and talk about diapers. Maybe he'll take after his dad and be a litigator when he grows up.

That is SO funny! Nate loves to talk on the phone too. He was babbling the ENTIRE time we were at Target... so I picked up the phone and called my dad and handed Nate the phone. They both chatted for a bit while I finished shopping! :-)
The doctor didn't "comment on how loquacious he was," he said "does he ever shut up?!" I know he was kidding, but sheesh...
Tell him to give me a call sometime...I'll put Attie on the phone and the two of them can compare notes on everything from the upcoming presidential election to skyrocketing gas prices. I expect that they then would recite the alphabet to one another and finish with a duet of "C is for cookie." Tell Jack not to worry. I have cable phone, so they can talk as long as they want and not run up my phone bill! ;-)
