Lily's Baptism

Yesterday Lily was baptized at Blessed Sacrament Church in Rochester. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and we were surrounded by family. Every time I'm at Blessed Sacrament it feels special. I remember our wedding and Jack's baptism. I also think about how my grandparents and great grandparents were married there. Lily is keeping the tradition alive! Here are a few pictures. Can you tell our children are loved?

Uncle Matt checking out his goddaughter. Matt actually held Lily while Father Kennedy blessed her. It will be great to tell her that some day.

Another Proud Grandfather

Toni and Lily. I love this shot! Toni looks like Kate to me. And, I love how Lily has her hands on her face and appears to be signing "love."

Lillian Patricia and Patricia (the sweet bracelet is from my Aunt Ann)

The Newly Engaged Couple

Mr. Jack.

I wonder if they'll order the same entree. Check out the baptism cards from the Tracy side.

All in all, a fantastic day. Thanks everyone!

These photos are wonderful! I loved seeing them and it does indeed look like you all had a very special day. Lily's bracelet is precious, and the gown is just beautiful, truly a heirloom. I laughed out loud when I saw all the matching Baptism cards. Well, you know what they say: great minds think alike.

Also, I can't get over the family history you have at Blessed Sacrament. No pressure or anything, Jack and Lily, when you decide to get married!

Last but not least, that color look great on you, Car. Did you coordinate with Grandpa Archer?

I can't believe how much Jack and Lily change between my visits! They are beautiful kids, just like their mom! Btw, I love the look of fear on Lily's face in the picture of me holding her. Please reassure her that I will be a good godmother, I promise!
