First Day of School

Guess who loved his first day of school? He didn't even notice us leaving the room. I can't believe our little guy is turning three this weekend and starting school. For today's visit they had the parents go downstairs for a little coffee hour and the kids stayed with the teachers for an hour. When we went to pick up Jack, I asked the teacher, "How'd it go?" She said, "He's active! But, he's great." He sure is. He also really wanted to go in the older kids' room because there was a letter/number rug. Slow down Jack! As he said this morning, "Let the wild rumpus start!"

SO cute!!!!! Seriously, how did he get to be such a big boy?!? I bet he LOVED it! It will only get better from here... Next time when you drop him off and actually get to leave for a couple of hours, THAT's when it becomes fun for mommy! :-) (I just did that for the first time today, and it ROCKED!!!)

Oh man! I'm so excited for him. How fun will it be when you pick him up and he tells you all the fun things he did and learned? Already with the "body song!" I can only imagine the stories that his teacher will have for you of the funny things he'll say. He's growing into a little (or not so little) man everyday!
