Last weekend we held Bridget's shower at Virtu restaurant in Rochester. It's a lovely spot right on the Genesee River (in Cornhill area). Despite the a/c not working, the place was fantastic. Bridget received so many nice gifts and I think, had a great time being surrounded by family and friends. Here are some pictures from the day.
What's not more Upstate New York than lilacs in Mackenzie-Childs?

The restaurant before everyone arrived

The cake was gorgeous. Premier Pastry is amazing.
Lily did have a really cute outfit on that day...I swear she wasn't dressed in a t-shirt. I think the lack of a/c was getting to her here. Otherwise, cute picture.

Bridget and Marissa have been friends forever...my mom and Mrs. McLean were talking about how they used to drive them to Nazareth College for the choir they were in.

Cute picture of Bridget with Brian's sister Amy, Mother, Debbie and Grandmother, Roberta.

My Aunt Geryle and Aunt Margaret (I guess you can tell they are sisters, huh?!)

Table Shots!

I particularly like how interested Elizabeth is in this gift.
Best Buds...Marissa, Bridge, Elizabeth (The OT, Physician and Engineer). Missing Lea in this picture but she was there in spirit.

Colin was so happy at the shower. I think he loved all the attention from the ladies.
Sisters
Bridge and some of her bridesmaids
Oh...our little Dr. Donna Reed

What a beautiful shower and what a beautiful bride. Looks like it was a wonderful day!
Great pictures, Carrie. I had a wonderful time. Everything was so lovely--the bride, the company, the setting, the cake, the lilacs, the food(to use Lily's word, "Yum"). You did a fantastic job! I was so glad I could be there.
Carrie, you did an AMAZING job. I absolutely loved the shower and only wished that I had more time to spend with everyone. Can't wait until July!
This was a great day! We got a little glimpse as to how beautiful Bridget will look on the big day!
