Hannukah Package!

Toni sent a package last week with presents for Hannukah. The kids got new pajamas (as is the tradition!) and there were books and crayons and a doodle pad. Good stuff. Here they are in their new duds. Happy Hannukah.

It's Christmas Time in Tonawanda...

It is always so great to have friends visit. The Daniels family are in town this week and we get to see them more than once! The kids were so sweet together. When they arrived Atticus ran out of the car and up to our house screaming, "JACK!" Then there was a small gift exchange which was the best thing to witness. The kids--especially Attie and Jack--LOVE opening presents. Attie was screaming when he opened up a coloring book. Lily loved Donovan. Maybe because she is more her size and also a little calmer than the boys. The girls sat in the seat below themselves. We didn't arrange this!

Happy Birthday "Uncle" Steve

Yesterday one of David's best friends, Kate's boyfriend and Matt's roommate all turned 30! "Uncle" Steve wears so many hats. Happy Birthday (belated)! I had computer problems yesterday so I didn't get this up sooner. Hope it was a fantastic day!

Visitors!

The other day we were graced with a visit from Nicole, Colin, my dad and uncle. Lily always wants to be near Colin. Who can blame her really? I mean, the baby dolls are all fine and good but that little guy is such a sweetheart. She is never far from him. I love that picture of Colin and my uncle too. Colin's face is priceless. Jumpin' Jack Flash was too quick for pictures that day.

Cue Song From My Favorite Holiday Musical...

SNOW! It's hard to believe December 1st marks the first measurable snowfall in Buffalo. Every time it snows, this song runs through my head. This is how I'm wired I guess (I love musicals). The best part of this song, and I think my sister will agree, is the hand percussion that Danny Kaye adds. That's close to the end though so you have to watch most of the clip to catch it. :)

Jack was so excited by the snow. He wanted us to get him boots so he could go out and make a snowman at 5:45 AM. He kept checking the window.

Lily was intrigued and wanted to see too.
