It is always so great to have friends visit. The Daniels family are in town this week and we get to see them more than once! The kids were so sweet together. When they arrived Atticus ran out of the car and up to our house screaming, "JACK!" Then there was a small gift exchange which was the best thing to witness. The kids--especially Attie and Jack--LOVE opening presents. Attie was screaming when he opened up a coloring book. Lily loved Donovan. Maybe because she is more her size and also a little calmer than the boys. The girls sat in the seat below themselves. We didn't arrange this!

So, I have no idea why you want a new camera because whatever you took these photos with magically subtracts ten pound. I want to frame that one of me and Lily because I look a little less like Kirstie Alley post-Jennie Craig and a little more like my Yaz-less self six months ago.
I agree with Erin--what a pair of mini-me's Little Bit and Lil are! And I wish we could attach an audio file to this post so people could not only see the photos, but hear the shrieking of Jack and Atticus bear-hugging one another and the total over-the-top ecstacy that was Attie's delight over the coloring book. So adorable.
Miss you all already. :(
PS--Why does David look so menacing in that photo? Is that how he intimidates people in court?
