Christmas Concert

Jack had his first concert this morning. It was fun watching so many three year olds sing their hearts out. Jack seemed rather solemn. I'm not sure if he just didn't like the fact that there was an audience or if the surroundings were different or if he's not a performer (not likely). Anyhow, I still think it's so sweet to watch him sing because he seems very focused on the task at hand. He loves music. Afterward, we got to see his classroom and then the whole family went to Panera for lunch. A pretty stellar day if you ask me.

This was taken after the concert. Jack was excited by the fact that he could go in the four year old room and run around on the letter and number rug. Lily stood in the middle to supervise.

Lily was getting tired at this point but seemed rather happy that her dad was there.

What a great day! Maybe we can get a repeat performance out of Jack at Christmas, huh?

Aww, this is adorable. But what are they singing? I kept thinking during the first video that it looks like all the kids are holding finger-guns and it didn't help at the end when the little girl in the white dress held it up to her mouth as though she were blowing the smoke off. Just watch, you'll see.

I give Jack total props. I cannot picture, for the life of me, Attie willingly participating in anything so organized. Did you get a little teary? I would have. Your baby boy is getting so big!

Love LOVE the shot of you and Lil. Such pretty girls.

Doesn't sound like y'all could have had a better Tuesday!
