The Champion
Today Dave rode in the Tour De Cure for diabetes. I am so proud of him. I can't believe he rode 30 miles! I thought he was going to do 16 and when he told me he did 30, I dismissed it and thought he was kidding. Then later on he mentioned something again about the 30 miles and I said, "Wait, you really did 30 miles?!" I think I would have had a hard time riding 3 miles.

The HSE tent. See Lily in the background?

Lily loved rolling around on the blanket and grabbing fistfuls of grass

The event had alot of activities for kids. There was a bounce house, a fire truck, a band and a Buffalo Bill. We were excited to get an autograph from Leodis McKelvin of the Bills. Jack however thought the nearby hula hoops were more exciting (sorry Kev). Jack had a blast. One of Dave's coworkers brought her kids and he played with them the entire time. He loved jumping in the bounce house and dancing to the music. Also, Niagara County Community College is located near the Niagara Falls airbase. We saw dozens of C130's flying overhead. Kevin were you by any chance flying in New York today? (Oh, and in case you were wondering I was there and I meant to get a picture of myself and didn't. I got one afterward so I'll try and post that this week.)

#28 of the Buffalo Bills

Is it a bad sign that his wrist is in a cast!?

That's great that you play for the NFL and all, but look at these giant circles!

Well done, Mr. Archer. We are very proud of you and all your good works!

Jack cracks me up with those hoola-hoops. And I couldn't help thinking about how much fun he and Attie would have in that bounce-house. One of them would end up with stitches, for sure.
