Let's Hope the Big Bad Wolf Can't Blow This Down...

Jack is currently fascinated by the story of the Three Little Pigs so I thought it only appropriate to reference. We had a new roof and gutters put on last week and if I do say so, the job turned out beautifully! This was a stressful decision but now we don't have to worry every time the forecast calls for rain(hopefully). We had to have the chimney repointed too. Things are shaping up. Now David is working on the landscaping in the front.

A few of our neighbors told us how nice it looked over the weekend. We had to laugh because our one neighbor always finds something else to bring to our attention. We were so happy with the new roof and then he said, "You know, I noticed the tree in your backyard has alot of white limbs on the top...probably are dead..." It reminded me of Clark when he puts up the Christmas lights: "the little lights aren't twinkling."

Newly Pointed Chimney

Whatever that silver lining thingy is (not sure the technical term)

The roof not only looks asthetically terrific, but also quite secure. The silver thingy--I think it's called "flashing"--not 100% sure though. The wee ones will be safe.

It looks great! I love the pics. I think I've only seen pictures of your house covered in snow.
