matt, david and lily

Kate and Matt had a belated birthday barbecue (say that three times fast)for David. It was nice because fortunately, by NYC standards, there was alot of room at Kate's. When we arrived they had a kiddie pool for Jack and gifts waiting. Kate bought some sponge letters for Jack. I love the picture below because you can tell that he was so excited. He was flapping his hands with joy waiting for her to open the package! He started yelling, "letters, letters!!!" He also scored a bubble mower (thanks Matt), a cool new beach towel and some stickers. Sweet.

Not sure who is having more fun in this shot.

I love this little girl!

I think they wanted to use props in this photo

Auntie Cake and Lily Lily is pretty talented. She can "attack" two people at once.
They've come such a long way from their days of summer maintenance for Pittsford Schools.

An Archer birthday celebration would not be complete without a yellow cake with chocolate frosting...oh and cocktail weiners wrapped in pillbury dough! It was a great day. I wish we were all closer. Maybe we should make this an annual gathering!

I think you should make it annual trip! Then you can swing up to the Boston / Providence area after that. Kate's place looks awesome, btw! Nice work!

Ahhh, Lily. What do you do to that child to make her so incessantly happy? I swear, I've never seen a such a smiley baby in all my life.

It looks like you all had a great time!
