Christmas in August (Maureen this is for you!)

This afternoon Jack was in rare form. After I put him down for a nap I could hear him upstairs playing. I noticed though that noise started getting louder instead of quieter. I went upstairs and opened the door to find this:

Sitting in time out. I left the red eye in on purpose!

There was even powder IN the dresser

There was baby powder EVERYWHERE. I never use baby powder but I had today because it was so hot. David was a good guy and came home and vacuumed most of it. You can still smell lavendar in the air. Maureen, I thought you would get a kick out of this because I seem to remember a similar incident happening at the Daniels house. Jack just thought that was the best toy ever. It was like snow in August. We're laughing about it now.

Hahaha. I remember Maureen's video. "Why did you do this?"

OMG! His face is priceless in that first shot. Oh man, I am SO not ready for this! Although, with the way things have been lately, Nate will probably launch the powder through a window or something. Glad Dave was able to help out!!! Here's to better tomorrows, right?! :-)

Good morning Sweet Caroline, Your Mom told me about this incident just now on the phone and I had to sign on and see Jack and the powder room! I asked your Mom if she remembers the one visit you were visiting us in Tampa, you were Jack's age, your parents went to Busch Gardens for the day and when they returned home, your Mom said, "Carrie, is still sleeping?".. When she opened the door to check on you, sure enough, you were sleeping but the walls and the crib were covered with crayon. Grandpa repainted the room the next day but a few days later it happened again...so Grandma decided to keep it there as a special memory. Your art work stayed there for months! I always knew you had an artistic ability at a very young age. Love Auntie Ann & Joanie xoxoxox

Apparently Jack has developed a new art form. Sounds like he takes after his mother.

Oh Jack, give your poor Mommy a break. I do have to say though, this gave Uncle Kevin and I a good laugh this morning!

Hahahahahha, oh hahahahaha....I'm sorry, I shouldn't at your pain, but you know what they say: misery loves company. Ah, little boys, little boys, what shall we do with them?!
