Darien Lake!

Kate and Matt treated us to a day at Darien Lake this past weekend. I haven't been to Darien Lake in a long time but suffice it to say the last time was not this much fun. We had a great day and Jack LOVED it. In fact, he keeps talking about "Carien Lakes" and asking when we are going to go back. It was nice going with a group (there were eight of us including the kids). The weather held out, our packed lunches stayed cold (we packed them ahead of time) and both kids napped. It was bliss.

C'mon guys, hurry! There's so much park to explore and such little time.

For some reason Jack thought it would be hysterical to take a bite out of Steve's apple. Then he thought it would be fun to eat the apple entirely.

Jack is still talking about riding the submarine with Matt. I personally enjoyed the running commentary that accompanied the ride. "We're going up! We're going down! We're going up! We're going down!"
I swear I'm not tired. Maybe if I wear my hat like Uncle Matt I'll get a rush of energy.

Uncle Steve (that's what Jack insists on calling him) was a good sport. He sat out one ride and helped watch Jack. They fed the ducks and then watched for David and Kate on the roller coaster.
